Day 28 in San Jose, Costa Rica
8:30 am-
We went down stairs for our complementary breakfast. We weren't expecting much but to our surprise they had a menu and a fruit bar. The little ones ordered french toast and we ordered eggs and bacon with toast. We all just shared food, Chloe had a plate full of fruit. She had some rambutans which we didn't care for but she loved. She was in heaven with the assortment of fruit. The kids all cleared their plates.
11:00 am-
We left the house for a bit. We stopped at a Starbucks for a coffee. The kids were ecstatic that Dad got them a coffee. We went to their mall, it was huge and had 4 stories. They were really expensive, even the same stores we shop at back home were cheaper than here. We left after a while and went to a Walmart. Last time we had clothes washed they gave our clothes back but we were missing multiple things. When we only pack a few things and things go missing it's not good. We got the kids another shirt and some drawing things. They have been wanting to draw and color. After we left Walmart we stopped at a little fast food restaurant. The kids played in the play place for a good hour and a half. We were letting them get some energy out.
5:30 pm-
We went back to the hotel and gave all the kids showers. They were very happy to have a warm shower. We haven't had warm water for showers the entire time. We spent the rest of the night just hanging out together. The kids colored pictures and watched a few videos on their tablets.
We all are a little homesick. Going to find something to do tomorrow to occupy our time. On a good note I found my camera charger. Now I am able to take more pictures :)
