Day 29 in San Jose, Costa Rica

8:30 am-

Today is was our final full day here. The kids are excited about going home, 30 is a long time for them. We went down stairs and had our complimentary breakfast. Chloe and Cali tried some new fruits and Brandt stuck to the banana muffins. Bens macadamia multigrain pancakes were delicious. After breakfast we went upstairs and wait for our tour we had planned.

1:00 pm-

We left the hotel and drove for about 30 minutes to the Toucan Rescue Ranch. We stopped and had a small lunch because we were running a little too early. When we arrived at the rescue center we were shown a video and then our tour guide showed us all of the animals they are helping. They are a nonprofit, rescue and release center. They have all sorts of animals and birds. We were able to see 2 and 3 toed sloths, toucans, at least 10 different owl species, all sorts of parrots, monkeys, porcupines, an ocelot, greater grison, otters, anteater, and many more. I was so happy to finally see toucans, they are my favorite. The sloths were the kids favorite. The kids learned a lot about the different animals on our tour. Jose was our guide and was great at keeping it interesting for the small kids. The monkeys were cool too, but we had to be cautious because they like to pull hair or steal your things. The kids somehow got in ants while we were there and there little feet are covered in bites. The kids all had a blast getting up close with the animals.

6:00 pm-

We stopped and grabbed a pizza on the way back to our hotel. We didn't want to get back out, traffic in the evenings kind of sucks around here. We packed all of our things and the kids FaceTimed Meme. We have a very long and early day of travel.

I have a lot of videos from the trip. When I get home I will post them. It takes way too long to upload them here.
